Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
Walk customer through problem-solving process.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
Install computer peripherals for users.
Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
Required Skills :
High School diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years directly related work experience in a technical help desk position supporting Windows Professional OSs, Microsoft Office all version, Internet Explorer and business applications in a business environment.
Knowledge of multiple desktop programs, configuration and debugging techniques.
Strong work ethic, detail oriented as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
Sound problem resolution, judgment and decision-making.
Experience supporting Windows XP,Windows 7, Windows 8, Ubountu, Microsoft Office 2003 or later, Outlook Environment, Internet Explorer, basic hardware issues, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices both in person and remotely.
Experience with TCP/IP and general networking issues.
Experience providing superior customer service and support.
Experience working effectively in a team environment, communicating effectively, resolving issues efficiently, and contributing to the improvement of the infrastructure.
Strong interpersonal and organization skills, successful in working both independently and in a team environment.
