Position - Help Desk
Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
- Respond to email messages for user seeking help.
- Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
- Walk user through problem-solving process.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN)
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- Follow up with user to ensure issue has been resolved.
Skills Required :
- 1-2 years directly related work experience in a technical help desk position supporting Windows Professional OSs, Microsoft Office all version, Internet Explorer and business applications in a business environment.
- Knowledge of multiple desktop programs, configuration and debugging techniques.
- Strong work ethic, detail oriented as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Sound problem resolution, judgment and decision-making.
- Experience supporting Windows XP to Windows 11, Microsoft Office, Outlook Environment, Internet Explorer, basic hardware issues, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices both in person and remotely.
- Experience with TCP/IP and general networking issues.
- Experience providing superior customer service and support.
- Experience working effectively in a team environment, communicating effectively, resolving issues efficiently, and contributing to the improvement of the infrastructure.
- Strong interpersonal and organization skills, successful in working both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem solving skills.
Experience:
