Position - Help Desk


Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
  • Respond to email messages for user seeking help.
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
  • Walk user through problem-solving process.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN)
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Follow up with user to ensure issue has been resolved.

Skills Required :


  • 1-2 years directly related work experience in a technical help desk position supporting Windows Professional OSs, Microsoft Office all version, Internet Explorer and business applications in a business environment.
  • Knowledge of multiple desktop programs, configuration and debugging techniques.
  • Strong work ethic, detail oriented as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Sound problem resolution, judgment and decision-making.
  • Experience supporting Windows XP to Windows 11, Microsoft Office, Outlook Environment, Internet Explorer, basic hardware issues, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices both in person and remotely.
  • Experience with TCP/IP and general networking issues.
  • Experience providing superior customer service and support.
  • Experience working effectively in a team environment, communicating effectively, resolving issues efficiently, and contributing to the improvement of the infrastructure.
  • Strong interpersonal and organization skills, successful in working both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills.


Experience:


  • 2 – 3 years relevant work experience.
